The methods we use
Jin Shin Jyutsu
An ancient Japanese acupressure art of harmonizing the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu brings balance to your body, which promotes optimal health and well being, and facilitates your own inherent healing capacity. It is a valuable complement to conventional healing methods, reducing the effects of stress and inducing relaxation.
Craniosacral therapy
A gentle hands-on method of body work that assesses and treats your craniosacral system and related structures. This treatment promotes a deep relaxation that encourages your own natural healing mechanism to dissipate the negative effects of injury and stress on your system.
Strain Counterstrain
A gentle, painless, and relaxing “positional release” technique. Strain Counterstrain is a hands-on treatment where stressed soft tissue is put in a “slackened” position allowing for full relaxation. Following release there is an immediate reduction of tissue pain and tension which helps restore balance in the area and allows for more normal joint and muscle movement.
Lymphatic Massage
A gentle hands-on method of body work that assesses and treats the fluid balance system of the body. Lymphatic massage helps relieve congestion and stagnation of the fluid in your body. Improved fluid dynamics promotes tissue healing and decreases pain receptor activation throughout your body.
